Applications will be accepted for four weeks after registration has closed. All applications are due no later than Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 5:00 PM U.S. Pacific Time.
Over a period of five weeks, the Maternal & Infant Health Award team will review each submission to ensure it complies with application requirements and rules.
From Tuesday, August 9 to Tuesday, August 30, 2022, lead applicants will score and comment on five other applications using the scoring rubric (scores are normalized for fairness).
Applicants may be asked to score and comment on additional applications. Final peer reviews are due by Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 5:00 PM U.S. Pacific Time.
Once Peer-to-Peer Review is complete, the Evaluation Panel will score and provide feedback on their assigned submissions using the scoring rubric (scores are normalized for fairness).
Over a period of two months, the donor will review the top-scoring submissions and may request additional information to select up to five finalists in early 2023.
Up to five Finalists will split $1 million and work with an expert team to strengthen, revise, and refine their solutions, and develop more detailed implementation plans. This stage also includes site visits with the donors.
